Fun fact #876: I have developed a little headache situation when I drink white wine. We're talking one glass, people!  So...the next time you see me with a glass of white, slap it out of my hand and consider it a charitable act. Sensing a segue?

I was so so sad that I couldn't attend the bar III launch party last week. Luckily, I got a few pics from the new collection that launches in Macy's next month.

And guess what, New Yorkers. A bar III pop-up shop is er, popping up on 20th Street and 5th Avenue from 2/10 to 3/6. I'm kinda' all over the basic pieces (like the Missoni-esque bustier dress) that can be worn clasically or morphed into rocker-chic and hippie-hot looks.

Last night I went to a Flirt Cosmetics fete announcing their new spokesperson, "Glee" star, Heather Morris; they also previewed their spring collection and its kittenish ad campaign. As I was rushed in and told Heather was about to perform, I really didn't know what to expect. I mean, I'm probably the only person who hasn't seen one episode of "Glee". Just like "Friends" and "Seinfeld", when everyone's on the bandwagon, I'm walking way behind it.

I just might be a "Glee" convert. Heather was wearing the most adorable shocking pink polka dot bustier and hot pants, side ponytail accented with pink and white flowers and matching lip color. Her performance was mesmerizing: sort of a playful mix between a 1920s U.S.O. performance and a coquettish burlesque show. Erring more on the side of the U.S.O., you know?

Unfortunately, I can't discuss (i.e. gush) all about the cool new, limited-edition products until they officially launch. I mean, there were even "cigarette girls" (pic below) passing around the new products. So on brand for Flirt.

I suspect Heather's wearing the new glammed-out products in the pic conmigo and Shanna below. I'll find out for sure, but she is the spokesperson after all. Fair assessment, no?

Last night I went to the Levi's Spring 2011 Press Preview. There I spotted the trends for the season including high-waisted styles and pastel-hued denim.

Among the amazing models donning the collection, I saw the models from the Curve ID party. As Misha, one of my blogger besties took a pic with a male model, I was bff-ing it up with my favorite model girl. Favorite because she was gracious enough to hold her pose as my ancient Canon "warmed up" at the Curve ID party. Why would a digital camera EVER need to warm up? No flippin' idea.

Anyways, as I knocked my tooth into the straw (this time it wasn't yet another display of my clumsiness; the straw was metal!), I watched The Duke Spirit perform. The lead singer, Liela Moss had the most incredible feather necklace...I'll see if I can get my hands on a pic for ya.

You might have heard about 7 for All Mankind's limited edition collection of 7 (of course!) pieces designed by photographer, Mika Ninagawa. As you can see from the styles above, the collection will be just as bold and in-your-face as Ninagawa's photography. But did you know that a Jersey Shore cast member was riding the wave of exposed (and dyed) denim shorts' pockets possibly a year before the collection's announcement?

On last week's season premiere, I noticed Ms. Angelina's shorts with exposed fuschia pockets and even had a disagreement with my friend about the outfit's flyness factor. Now I doubt very much that her shorts are from the new collection, but I loved them paired with brown chunky stacked heels. My buddy hated the whole look. What do you think...to dye for?

I am mega inspired by '70s fashion: from "Welcome Back Kotter" to "Saturday Night Fever". Video clips from Studio 54 make me swoon. Almost as much as a young John Travolta. Let me get to the point. 

Halston Heritage just launched at Neiman Marcus. Rock one of these pieces and you will sooo look like a glammed-out supermodel spinning on the illuminated dance floor (minus the coke spoon). Oh gosh...too far again?

OK...back to the collection. It's so calling my name. *Sigh* If it only called my wallet...collect.
